As much as I love DIY decorating, it comes with a price. Failure. I had one job. I was in charge of the 2020 balloons and backdrop! I did not have much time that week to get anything and I wanted to do it all in one day. I was particularly looking for 34-36 inch silver balloons. When I called party city they only had 12 inch ones that were red. Ugh! I tried calling other places but they were either too small or just didn't have the right color. Let me just recap you on my IG story back in June.
And of course they POPPED on the way home!

I had no time to go back. Every store was closed and the balloon lady wasn't available until tomorrow and the party was tomorrow. So, I decided to attempt to make a balloon collage but that didn't work out. Sadly, I added an extra day to my DIY supply run. Thankfully, with the help of my sister we got the right balloons; size and color. They turned out gorgeous! I was so happy that my niece got to enjoy her very special day with a quick and simple backdrop, although it was a bit of a mission for me.
